The aim of this toolkit is to help educators and counselors understand what self-efficacy is and the powerful impact it can have on a student’s behavior within an academic setting. This toolkit will also forge connections between self-efficacy and educational equity, outlining how marginalized students can benefit from an increased self-efficacy. Lastly, this toolkit will provide tangible and practical strategies to implement so that educators and counselors can increase their students’ self-efficacy.
This toolkit also serves as the workbook for NAPE’s accompanying professional development.
