NAPE is excited to announce that Adolph “Doc” Brown, PhD, Founder, President, and CEO of The Leadership & Learning Institute, will deliver a keynote address at the 2018 National Summit for Educational Equity. Dr. Brown’s extensive career includes serving as a public school educator, credentialed administrator, tenured university professor, university dean, and businessman.
Dr. Brown’s remarkable story of overcoming extreme poverty and other challenges has inspired audiences across the country and propelled him to become one of the world’s most popular speakers. His unique ability to inform as well as entertain has captivated leaders in business and education, and he credits his success to hard work, faith, a positive attitude, and a caring village. He is noted for his ability to blend humorous stories with truisms or “REAL TALK” and research to challenge his audiences to take a more positive approach to their lives and work.
Dr. Brown has shared his inspiring and powerful messages with audiences through his books, recordings, television programs, and radio talk shows, and NAPE is excited that he will bring these messages to next year’s Summit. His presentation is sure to inspire and challenge Summit attendees, as we recommit ourselves to “Building Bridges to Strengthen Access, Equity, and Diversity.”
