Deloitte Impact Day

On June 7, 2013, more than 4,200 volunteers from Deloitte’s Greater Washington offices teamed with 98 nonprofits to lend a hand with a variety of service projects to benefit local neighborhoods. Their efforts are part of IMPACT Day, Deloitte’s day of community service. Fifty-eight Deloitte volunteers partnered with NAPE to meet with students at four Washington, DC, schools to share their passion for STEM. They engaged students in fun activities that illustrated how they use STEM skills every day in their careers.  The schools included Calvin Coolidge High School, Friendship Public Charter School, McKinley Technology High School, and the Noyes Education Campus.
