Deloitte's Women in Technology to Visit DC Schools

Dear Education Partners,
One day each year, Deloitte employees nationwide partake in a day
committed to volunteerism. This year, Deloitte has teamed with the
National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity and the District of
Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education to give back
to DC schools.
On Friday, June 7, 2013, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, role models from the
Women in Technology group at Deloitte will meet with your students to
share their passion for science, technology, engineering, and math
(STEM). They will engage your students in a fun activity that
illustrates how they use these skills every day in their careers. Role
models will be available for either:
Option #1
Classroom Activity: A team of role models will come to
your classroom to work with your students for the period, or
Option #2 Group
Activity: A group of girls interested in a career in
STEM will spend the morning or afternoon with a team of role models.

Johnson, State Director by April 22, 2013.
