Learn how NAPE helped Brandywine School District increase the participation of girls in Design and Engineering

Brandywine School District in Wilmington, DE increased the participation of girls in Design and Engineering by using NAPE’s Program Improvement Process for Equity. Teams from Brandywine’s three high schools participated in NAPE’s PIPE training and implemented an activity that resulted in 46% of the middle school girls participating to enroll in the Design and Engineering pathway. Educators who participated also increased their knowledge, ability and belief that students could be successful in a nontraditional CTE program.
